We've just added the Explorer, a second electric induction cooker plus under-counter oven option, to our recently launched range of compact cookers aimed at the motorboat, catamaran and riverboat market.
GN Espace developed the Explorer in recognition of the need for space saving solutions, energy efficiency and reliability. Designed with the ‘flat’ non-heeling boat in mind the Explorer can afford to have the streamlined looks of an eye-catching home-from-home cooker with robust functionality. As well as its advanced functionality the Explorer is finished in black anodised aluminium with rotary controls, to be the centrepiece of any onboard galley.
The super-efficient cooker will heat to 180°C in as little as eight minutes and is available in two sizes, a compact 500mm wide version and an even more snug 450mm wide version. With these choices the Explorer 450 can slot into an tighter galley without compromise while the Explorer 500 can take advantage of more space to offer a greater cooking capacity.
The Explorer 500 features a 3-zone hob plus single cavity 1800W multi-function 30 litre oven and grill while the Explorer 450 has two cooking zones on the hob and a 1250W 23 litre oven capacity. GN Espace cookers achieve 25-30% lower electricity consumption compared to similar domestic appliances so battery consumption is optimised. The stand-alone ovens have the same features.
GN Espace is proud to be leading the way by creating exceptionally high-quality cookers using marine grade stainless steel components tested in the toughest conditions at sea.
The introduction of the Explorer by this well-established marine galley manufacturer follows fast on the success of the smooth glass finished Gourmet model. The black anodised finish of the Explorer not only gives it a unique aesthetic style but features all the same benefits as the Gourmet with the more rugged finish.
