Electric Cookers & Ovens Range

Why choose GN Espace Electric Cookers & Ovens?

01
Energy Efficiency

Energy Efficiency

Our cookers are meticulously engineered from top-tier components, to deliver unwavering cooking performance while consuming minimal electricity.

Thanks to our refined R&D, our appliances achieve 25-30% lower electricity consumption compared to standard domestic counterparts. This sets new standards in galley cooking, ensuring swift heating, economical operation with exceptional and reliable cooking results, to allow you to cook a varied and exciting menu with ease.

02
Safety

Performance

We’ve worked hard to ensure our ovens have a fast, even cooking distribution using low energy.

The multi-function fan oven has full insulation from natural Rock Wool to give an even heat distribution. Our oven heats to 180°c temperature in as little as 8 minutes. (in less than half the time taken by a conventional non-fan electric oven)

The unique ECO fan setting (fan cooking with the light off) and our decision not to have a wasteful and unnecessary electric timer may seem obvious, but they help save valuable battery capacity.

The powerful grill gives cavity wide coverage and can also be used for hot-air grilling of poultry.

03
PErformance

Safety

Our products often exceed stringent CE approval requirements. Induction hobs are packed with features for enhancing galley safety and comfort, and stay cool. Safety stops on oven shelves prevent accidents from the cookware sliding out.

The runners have a positive pull-out end stop, as well as integrated fiddles, irrespective of whether you use the wire shelf or Gastronorm containers. The elimination of gas on board is an added benefit.

04
Comfort

Easy to Clean

A quick wipe after cooking is all you need to maintain the induction hob. As, unlike ceramic hobs, the induction hob heats the pots and not the surface itself – so there is no danger of spillages burning on.

The oven cavity and oven accessories are made from marine grade stainless steel to ensure easy cleaning and a long life.

The oven cavity has been designed to avoid dirt traps, there is a removable oven roof, as well as a self cleaning grill element.

What our customers say

The burners are excellent, I really like the grill and it's really easy to clean. This is a world away from the old one and a real oven is a great luxury.

I am delighted with the oven and what it can do. Great product and with the trend in overlanding to lose gas I wish you the utmost success for the coming years.
William, UK, OceanChef Induction cooker
RV Customer
At first glance and first use, our new induction cooker is unsurpassed. Everything works very correctly and is good quality. Previously, we had an induction from an Italian manufacturer (Twice there was a short circuit, and the oven did not heat up enough). We spend a lot of time on the boat (a Garcia 52), so safety is very important.
Viktoriya, Greece, OceanChef Induction cooker
Marine Customer
Not only does the oven now get hotter, the gas lasts twice as long, but it also lights instantly now too! We'd definitely buy your oven for our next boat.
Justin, UK, LPG cooker

The Levante 2 is a star. Living aboard our Malö 50 built 1973 your cooker didn't just improve our living. This is a new level of independence altogether.

The galley game onboard has stepped up. Cannot find any negatives to lose gas - but lots of positives. The oven is awesome! Heats up fast, minimal heat leakage and works as any high quality kitchen appliance. If you have the battery capacity this one should be a no brainer.

Due to the rather specialist nature of our products, we tend not to deal through distributors or retailers. How long until I will receive my product?

As we hand-build our cookers and ovens to order, please allow 5-6 weeks for production and delivery of your purchase. For accessories only, please allow 2 weeks. We'll endeavour to keep you informed about timeframes throughout the process.

What is the process for delivery in the UK?

The product is boxed and palletised. We use reputable and reliable delivery service in the UK to the address of your choice. Delivery costs are charged at an additional fee, you can collect from our premises by arrangement. We would be glad to welcome you and show you how we build our cookers.

What is the process for delivering outside of the uk?

We offer Worldwide Delivery and Support, and regularly deliver to clients all around the globe (even to the most remote islands) using a reliable network of logistics companies.  Please get in touch us to find out how we can help you.

The general process for delivery outside of the UK is as follows:

  • Products are sold to you excluding UK VAT, so you will need to pay VAT at your local rate
  • Upon arrival into your country, the Carriers will contact you to pay any VAT charges
  • We will provide you with a waybill for your tracking purposes.
  • We strongly suggest you track your consignment and once you see it arrive at the Customs border, promptly contact the Carriers yourself to make the necessary VAT payment. This will help ensure that there are no Customs hold ups and that your consignment is quickly cleared for onward delivery to its final destination.

Product Questions

What do I do if the LPG oven is not getting hot enough and taking too long to cook?

If the LPG oven is not getting hot enough, but the hob is working correctly giving bad cooking performance on your LPG cooker, we suggest the following.

We factory test each oven and thermostat to make sure that they reach the correct working temperature.  The ovens gas system is a basic and very reliable design and although there is a chance that the thermostat can fail our experience is that any drop in performance is due to a lack of gas feeding the system.

This may be caused by one of the following:

  1. an empty gas bottle
  2. a blockage or leak in the gas supply pipe
  3. a faulty gas regulator

Our experience has also taught us that quite often the issue is caused by a faulty gas regulator, which is partially blocked and goes not give the stove - and especially the Grill - enough gas to burn.  Replacing the Gas Regulator solves the problem.

Make sure that it is the correct regulator for the gas type – and importantly also have the gas pressure at the cooker checked.

The correct LPG gas regulator pressures are:

CAT I3+ (28-30/37)                      CAT I3B/P(30)

Butane (G30) 28-30 mbar           Butane (G30) 30mbar

Propane (G31) 37 mbar              Propane G(31) 30 mbar

What do I do if the gas burners are not staying lit?

Try three quick fixes.

  1. Try cleaning the Brass thermocouple that protrudes into the flame. You can use a toothbrush or maybe some wool to do this.
  • Hob – remove the burner cap and flame spreader to access the thermocouple.
  • Oven-  the thermocouple is horizontally mounted in the right side of the burner box which is at the back of the oven.
  • Grill/Broiler – the thermocouple protrudes from the left hand side of the cavity.
  1. If 1 doesn't help then try pushing the Thermoprobe upwards so that it sits closer into the flame.

Propane (G31) 37 mbar              Propane G(31) 30 mbar

What is the best way to maintain my stainless steel cooker?

Maintaining your stainless steel cooker is essential to keeping it looking great and functioning properly.

Here are some tips to help you maintain your stainless steel products and keep them looking great for years to come:

  • Regular Cleaning: Clean the cooker regularly with warm, soapy water and a soft cloth or sponge. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or scrubbing pads that could scratch the surface. If you do use any type of scourer, only use a light one and always go with and not against the grain of the stainless steel.
  • Dry Thoroughly: After cleaning, make sure to dry the cooker thoroughly to prevent water spots and stains from forming, especially if salty water has touched it.
  • Avoid Harsh Chemicals: Avoid using harsh chemicals, bleach, or ammonia-based cleaners on your stainless steel cooker as they can damage the surface.
  • Remove Burnt-on Residue: If there is burnt-on residue or stubborn stains, you can use a mixture of baking soda and water to create a paste. Apply the paste to the affected area, let it sit for a few minutes, and then rub gently with a soft cloth or sponge and always go with and not against the grain of the stainless steel. Rinse thoroughly and dry.
  • Follow Grain Direction: When cleaning or wiping down the cooker, always wipe in the direction of the grain of the stainless steel to avoid scratching the surfae
  • Handle with Care: Be careful when using utensils or pots and pans on the cooker surface to avoid scratching or damaging the stainless steel.
  • Polish Occasionally: For extra shine, you can polish your stainless steel cooker with a soft cloth and a small amount of baby oil. Simply apply a small amount to the cloth and buff the surface in circular motions.
  • Use Stainless Steel Cleaner:  Stainless-steel products can on occasion be subject to rust spotting without any intervention, especially when in a salty environment. If you do experience any rust spotting, we have found that the best product to use is Aalco’s Innosoft B570 deep cleaner, which can either be found in good chandlery stores or probably better ordered online. In the rare event that rust spots do appear, it will remove these and also leave a protective layer on the surface of your cooker to help prevent any rust spots from coming back. In such circumstances, we advise treating all external cooker panels with this product.

What energy system do your electric products use?

All of our induction/electric appliances work on a 230v system. However, as all our induction cookers and hobs are 50/60Hz compatible without modification, should you wish to run these 230v appliances on a 110/120v electrical system, all you will require in addition, is a step-up auto transformer, similar to the Victron unit we recommend.

How can I order spare parts?

We prioritise the best quality components and materials for our products, but over time, parts may break and need replacing.

If you would like to order any spare parts - please email customersupport@gn-espace.com and one of the team will get back to you to help and organise delivery.

How much energy do your products use?

All of our products have been designed with efficiency in mind.

  • Our LPG cookers are extremely economical in their gas usage due to the high-quality components that we use and the excellent insulation properties of our ovens.
